Is everybody in? Good. Now that I have your attention...

This SATURDAY, 4/5/2014 at The Stage Miami, Telekinetic Walrus and The Pride of Ions, Afrobeta and the lovely cyborg, Phaxas, will be bringing the funk back into our lives for a fun-filled night of Excess.

Oktech: The Festival of Excess will be celebrating the merger of two powerful forces! William 'Cito' Vivas AKA Faun 5000, has joined Telekinetic Walrus in efforts to help destroy the darkness. Thus, in commeration of such a noble deed...we're throwing him the gala of all galas to celebrate.

TKW will be releasing an all instrumental EP (with an intro into the lore of Faun 5000 by The Time-Zoo Keeper himself) and the first 100 guests will receive a free copy upon entry! You will also be served up some delicious, homemade (with love), blueberry pancakes by Faun 5000's friends, just for being guests of the King.

You don't want to miss it! Be sure to follow this link here to soundcloud for a special compilation release with a track from each project!

UPDATE

The Miami New Times: Crossfade has deemed Oktech: The Festival of Excess as one of

Miami's Ten Best Things to Do Under $10 This Weekend

Although they got a few details wrong, still an awesome and much appreciated mention! 10$ entry. Doors open at 9pm! Don't lose an opportunity to get your home-made blueberry pancakes, just find the Räh Threads booth!

 UPDATE #2

Here are a few behind the scenes photos of our fauns and faunas getting ready for their debut performance. You'll also see a few photos of the make-up aftermath. There will be a third update to this post with the video that we make from the festival! Yes, those are hair horns. It took our huge team to make this event a success and I think it's safe to say that we had a great time.

Take a listen to the EP "The Instrumental Adventures of Faun 5000, King of Faunzellia" here

Read this nice  Q & A article/interview of Telekinetic Walrus, posted on the Crossfade blog by the Miami New Times, here

J-Dude made an awesome video and backed it with the new EP . You should watch it, here.

Also, the Miami New Times came by the Cave for one of the rehearsals for Oktech and had an interview with a couple of our favorite friends, Afrobeta. Check out the interview here.
