New Work

I've been quite busy and haven't had time for a proper update, but man do I have a lot of new work to share! I see I've had some activity from Indonesia this past week and that's a first (to my knowledge anyway!) Welcome! Lately I've been doing a lot of different types of projects and I am working in a few different mediums, but right now I've been in beast mode, busting out collages left and right. I'm going to post the complete pieces here they're just not scanned in at full quality yet so I hope you don't mind the cell phone images. I will have prints made soon as #ArtBasel2015 is right around the corner!

That new #walrusphunk

I know it's been a while since I've posted (if this blog was more of a personal journal I'd share with everyone my past couple months and the wild ride I've been on) but since it's not, I won't get into it because I'll end up writing that novel I've been saying I'll write, forever. Anyway, here is a Walrus update for now.

The band is on the second leg of their #GoldPass tour, promoting their new album all up and down the East Coast. However, the Walrus will be extending their route this summer so expect some dates in NOLA, NY, NC and then eventually, we'll head West! In the meantime, while everyone waits in anticipation of the release of new full-length album The Spaceship with the Heavy Bass Bump (it's bananas that's how good it is) I have a couple new band photos to share. <3

For all of our local friends, Telekinetic Walrus will be releasing their second Full-Length album titled "The Spaceship with the Heavy Bass Bump" this Saturday, May 9th, at The Stage Miami. They will be joined by some of the best local electronic acts in town; #Afrobeta, #TheGalacticEffect and #MasterFeathers! This is one of the last parties at The Stage before it closes so be sure to come out and rage with us!

It's finally here....
The Spaceship With The Heavy Bass Bump is now available! Remember, purchasing an album helps the band tour to YOUR city! We love and appreciate everyone and everything and hope you enjoy.

WE DID IT!!

Telekinetic Walrus has successfully funded our #Kickstarter campaign and we are one step closer to getting our new spaceship to tour in! We couldn't have done it without the help, love and support from our family, friends and peers across the globe. We are so grateful and appreciative of anyone and everyone who helped spread the word. We are making waves! A real update will be posted soon with photos and a video of our epic fundraising party, as well as updates on us preparing for creating and executing the incentives for our financial backers. Thank you all again so much for helping us achieve our dreams. So much love. <3

Mantra GIFS, AMANDA PALMER, Kickstarter

So we have some amazing news! Not only has our first official music video reached over 1,000 views in less than a week, but tonight an incredibly talented artist, #AmandaPalmer was kind enough to show her support and #Tweet our #Kickstarter !!! Thank you to Jacky Vasquez for reaching out her. <3 The support we have gained is so beautiful and we are so, so, so grateful for everyone's love and support. We have about 5 days left to our campaign and still have quite a bit of money to raise so we can get a safe new tour van. We have some seriously cool incentives for you guys! From t-shirts that we design and print ourselves, to our one of a kind Squirrels and Squirrel Staffs, to private parties and track recordings- we make your donations worth it!
